A lash artist reads the eye shape before a single lash is placed — which curl fits, and why. A set that truly belongs to the person. No copy, no standard map. A unique design, for each individual.
A normal lash tech just copies and pastes. I look at eye shapes. I have knowledge about every face that sits in my chair.
I started doing lashes and felt it straight away: this is exactly what I want to do. But in my own way. What followed was a studio in Arnhem, a style of my own, and many students I've had the privilege to guide into becoming lash artists.
In a market where Russian volume was the standard, I chose wispy — lighter, more natural, more “me”. People didn't always get it at first. But I stayed consistent, and now wispy is one of the most requested styles.
